Appraisal Institute Awards Prestigious SRA Designation to Michael Nwosu

Real estate decisions can be difficult and complex, so having the guidance of a designated Appraisal Institute member is a great asset to any transaction undertaken by lenders, government agencies, courts, corporations, investors and individual property owners.

This is why we’re pleased to announce that our staff member, Michael U. Nwosu, is now certified with the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute, which only 1 percent of appraisers hold!

Its requirements go above and beyond those for state licensing and certification.

This is an impressive achievement for Michael because it requires a level of education and experience that few professionals in our industry have reached. When you hire him you hire one of the most qualified appraisers in the profession.

And it gives NJRAG the chance to offer you his deep expertise.

To maintain this designation requires members to fulfill continuing education requirements on an ongoing basis. This includes periodic attendance at and passing the exams for Standards of Professional Practice courses.

Background on the Appraisal Institute:

Today and throughout its 80-year history, the Appraisal Institute is the leading organization for professional real estate appraisers. Reflecting its unbiased, objective approach to real property appraisal and analysis, members must adhere to a strictly enforced Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. The Appraisal Institute advocates equal opportunity and nondiscrimination in the appraisal profession and conducts its activities in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
